- isis, çocuğu horus ile çocuklu bakire kültünün temelini oluşturan ilahedir. eski mısır'da oldukça popüler olduğu gibi önasya milletlerinin inançlarını da oldukça etkilemiştir. bazı teologlar hristiyanlıktaki isa ve bakire meryem inancının isis kültünden geldiğini savunur.
- güç sözlerinin efendisi ve doğa tanrıçası olarak geçmektedir. heykel ya da resimlerinin çoğunda alnını çevreleyen bir yılan bulunmaktadır. başında ise, tahta benzeyen başlık, kimi figürlerde ise güneş kursu ve boynuzlu başlığı olan bir kadın şeklinde ifade edilmiştir. aynı zamanda beş epagomenal neter'den bir tanesidir.
